Pura Vida en Parguera offers private boat tours for up to 6 passengers, providing an exclusive experience just for you and your guests. Each tour includes a certified USCG Master Captain, who is a local expert with deep knowledge of the area and its waters.
We are located in Lajas, on the southwest coast of Puerto Rico, along the Caribbean side of the island. Unlike the north coast (San Juan area), which faces the Atlantic Ocean, our waters are known for being clear, calm, and turquoise blue—perfect for a relaxing and beautiful day on the water. Simply put: the west side is the best side, and that’s why so many visitors choose to explore with us.
Our main destination is the famous Cayo Caracoles, one of Puerto Rico’s most popular sandbars. On weekdays, we also offer scenic cruising around the nearby cays, giving you a chance to explore more of the natural beauty that surrounds La Parguera.
We also accommodate larger groups booking two or more boats. When your group is split across multiple vessels, our team will coordinate the logistics so that everyone reunites at the cays and enjoys the day together, while still complying with all safety and passenger capacity regulations.
We offer three tour time options to fit your schedule:

Morning Tour: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Evening Bio Bay Tour: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
All our vessels are fully inspected and compliant with USCG regulations, with documentation visibly displayed on board. This ensures not only your safety but also your peace of mind.
Unlike others in the area, we operate under full legal compliance—meaning all captains are licensed for commercial use, not just recreational. A navigation license is not a captain’s license. At Pura Vida, every tour is professional, safe, and regulated.
